Introducing… another horse game.

We know. There are already quite a few horse games out there. Some focus on horse care. Some focus on breeding. Some focus on collecting, customizing, or building a beautiful stable. A lot of them have their own style, their own community, and their own reason for existing.

So when we started working on Derby Champions, the last thing we wanted to do was create a generic horse game just for the sake of making one.

The world does not need another horse game that feels exactly like everything else.

What we felt was missing was something a little different.

We wanted a horse racing game where the race itself actually feels exciting. A game where winning feels earned, losing makes you want to run it back, and every race gives you that feeling of “I can do better next time.”

That is why we are building Derby Champions.

A Different Kind of Horse Racing Game

Derby Champions is an online horse racing game built for players who want the racing to be the main event.

Not just something you click through.

Not just something happening in the background.

The race is the game.

We want players to feel the pressure of the final stretch, the frustration of a close loss, and the excitement of pulling ahead at the perfect moment. We want the races to feel competitive, but still fun. Strategic, but not overwhelming. Easy to jump into, but hard to completely master.

You do not need to be a lifelong horse racing fan to enjoy Derby Champions.

You just need to enjoy the feeling of competing and improving.

That is the type of game we are trying to create.

What We Felt Was Missing

A lot of horse games do a great job of capturing the peaceful side of horses.

The care.

The customization.

The stable life.

The collecting.

And there is absolutely a place for that.

But for us, we kept coming back to one simple question:

Where is the horse racing game that feels genuinely fun to compete in?

The game where you are not just watching a race happen, but actually invested in the outcome. The game where the race feels like something you can get better at. The game where you can lose by a small margin and immediately want another chance.

That was the gap we kept noticing.

So Derby Champions became our attempt to build the kind of horse racing game we wanted to play ourselves.

Something with energy.

Something with personality.

More Than Just Racing

At its core, Derby Champions is about racing. But the world around the racing matters too.

Players will be able to build and manage their own ranch, improve their home base, unlock new items, train their horses, and continue growing their stable over time. The goal is to give players a world that feels connected to the races, instead of making the races feel like a separate mini-game.

We want your ranch, your horses, your upgrades, and your race results to all feel like they belong to the same experience.

You race.

You earn.

You build.

You come back stronger.

Inspired by Games We Grew Up Loving

Derby Champions also pays tribute to the kind of games that made us fall in love with gaming in the first place.

Games that were simple to understand, but hard to master.

Games where you could lose hours without realizing it.

Games that had charm, competition, and just enough depth to make you keep coming back.

We are not trying to copy those games. But we are absolutely inspired by that feeling.

The feeling of starting with something small, learning how the game works, making better decisions, and slowly becoming one of the players everyone else has to watch out for.

That is the feeling we want Derby Champions to capture.
