Championship Sunday gives Derby Champions a weekly rhythm, almost like a mini season.

The major Cups are weekly events because we want players to have time to prepare, qualify, and decide which horses they want to bring to the biggest stage. During the week, players can race, train, test horses, improve their strategy, and work toward qualification.

On Sunday, the focus shifts to the major Cups.

How Qualification Works

To enter a major Cup race, a horse must qualify first.

A horse qualifies for the major Cups by winning at least one Derby Championship race during its career.

Derby Championship races happen seven times each day, giving players multiple opportunities to earn their spot. To qualify for a Derby Championship race, a horse must first win at least one Circuit race.

That means the road to Championship Sunday starts with regular competition.

Win a Circuit race.
Qualify for a Derby Championship race.
Win a Derby Championship race.
Earn your place in the major Cups.
